Mozilla Firefox 3 Download Day

Mozilla Firefox 3 were downloaded by more than 8 million people in just 24 hours after the launch. It is a feat compared to the original 5 million that they had hoped for so that they could set a new Guiness World Record. It turns out that they released it in the afternoon or evening.(???)

Mozilla Firefox 3 !

Mozilla Firefox 3 is scheduled to be out today (17/6/08) and they are appealing to the world to help them set a Guinness World Record for the most software downloads in 24 hours. It is already 11am when I am writing this but the final version is not out yet except for the release candidate 3.
